The most important skill in the business world today is the ability to effectively, professionally and ethically communicate the corporate business message to the people with whom we do business. This is generally referred to as “sales and marketing”. There are however, critical differences in how these two activities interact and support each other. The purpose for creating the international sales institute is to provide all people involved in the business communication process “people to people”, with education, support and motivation for their profession. The 21st century relationship process requires a greater respect and understanding of the customer's thoughts and feelings.

The international sales institute is committed to the business communication method known as “Consultative Selling”. This process respects without exception, the principle that the relationship is more important than the sale. The institute is also committed to and appreciates that the success of any business activity is based on people making a difference to people, and exceeding their collective expectations.
